Neogotikinio stiliaus Švč. Mergelės Marijos Škaplierinės bažnyčią, pastatytą 1931 m., buvo pamėgęs Lenkijos maršalka Juzefas Pilsudskis, joje dažnai lankydavosi kalbininkas Juozas Balčikonis, poetas ir prozininkas Vincas Mykolaitis-Putinas ir daugelis kitų žinomų Lietuvos visuomenės veikėjų. Švč. Mergelės Marijos Škaplierinės bažnyčia – nepaprastai vertinga ir įspūdinga pažintinė architektūros ir kultūros vieta. Bažnyčios aikštė su bažnyčia iki šiol lieka viena populiariausių miesto aikščių. Bažnyčioje saugoma Šv. Valentino relikvija.

Neo-Gothic style St. The Church of the Virgin Mary Škaplierinė, built in 1931, was loved by Marshal of Poland Juzefs Pilsudskis, and was often visited by linguist Juozas Balčikonis, poet and prose writer Vincas Mykolaitis-Putinas and many other well-known Lithuanian public figures. St. The Church of the Virgin Mary Škaplierinė is an extremely valuable and impressive educational place of architecture and culture. Church Square with the church remains one of the most popular squares in the city to this day. The church preserves St. Valentine's Relic.
