Come join us at Newton Hills for a weekend of camping and caching (you could just camp or you can just cache, the choice is yours).
The fun will start on Friday evening at 7:00PM with a camp fire (site 111), and will continue through the entire weekend (ending by Noon on Sunday). Stop by any day of the weekend and say "Hello". Hunt down any of the caches in the area (there are many here).

The core of the event will Saturday the 14th. New  caches will be released and published at 10:00 Saturday morning.  Meet at shelter #3/#4 (N 43° 13.195 W 096° 34.400) by 9:30AM to have the caches loaded into your gps . There also will be  coffee and cookies provided when loading your gps. Cell phone coverage is very limited or non existent in the park so keep that in mind.

We will meet for lunch at noon Saturday in shelter #3/#4 N 43° 13.195 W 096° 34.400.  Saturday noon lunch will be hot dogs and what ever else you want. We will provide paper plates, dogs, buns, and individual bags of chips. Ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish packets will be provided. We will have bottled water available if you want it. You may take any type of food you wish for yourself but there will be no potluck type dishes.

We hope to be able to do the dutch oven cobbler weather permitting late Saturday afternoon or early evening.  We will decide this at the time of the event exactly how this will go.

If you are sure you will be going to this event don’t wait till the last minute to reserve, especially if you want a cabin.  There are seven cabins in the park and they will go fast.  Campsites in the loop 79 - 112 will be closest to the evening gatherings.  There is a $8 per vehicle entry fee,
