Recently, I discovered that the International Day of Geocaching is approaching, and I thought it would be a great opportunity to organize an event where I can personally meet local geocachers. It's also a great chance to earn a new souvenir if you have already found most of the geocaches in the area.
We'll be gathering at Bicentenario Park. In case the weather isn't favorable, we'll relocate the event to a nearby bar or café so we can meet indoors.
The official event will last for one hour, during which we can get to know each other, exchange trackable items, and perhaps assist each other with challenging puzzles. If everyone's in the mood, we can extend our time together after 12:00.
Only those that sign the log sheet between 11:00 and 12:00 will be allowed to register this event online.
Newcomers are more than welcome! Bring your friends who you think might enjoy the game, and we can introduce them to the wonderful world of geocaching by helping them find their first nearby traditional cache. Let's boost the growth of the local geocaching community.

Recientemente, descubrí que se acerca el Día Internacional del Geocaching y pensé que sería una excelente oportunidad para organizar un evento en el que pueda conocer personalmente a geocachers locales. También es una gran oportunidad para obtener un nuevo souvenir si ya has encontrado la mayoría de los geocaches en la zona.
Nos encontraremos en el Parque Bicentenario. En caso de que el clima no sea favorable, movemos el evento a un bar o café cercano para poder reunirnos en un lugar cubierto.
El evento oficial durará una hora, durante la cual podremos conocernos, intercambiar objetos "trackables" y tal vez ayudarnos mutuamente con acertijos desafiantes. Si todos están de ánimo, podemos extender nuestro tiempo juntos después de las 12:00.
Solo aquellos que firmen la hoja de registro entre las 11:00 y las 12:00 podrán inscribir este evento online.
¡Los principiantes son más que bienvenidos! Invita a tus amigos que creas que podrían disfrutar del juego, y podremos presentarles el maravilloso mundo del geocaching ayudándoles a encontrar su primera geocache tradicional cercana. ¡Impulsemos el crecimiento de la comunidad local de geocachers!
