EN : Solomos, the main figure of the Ionian school, is considered the Greek national poet, not only because he is the author of the words of the Greek anthem, but above all because he was the first to incorporate folk traditions into Modern Greek literature: communal songs and the achievements of Renaissance Cretan literature. In addition, in his work, Solomos consistently used the spoken Greek language - demotic, giving shape to the modern Greek language.
GR : Ο Σολωμός, η κύρια μορφή της επτανησιακής σχολής, θεωρείται ο Έλληνας εθνικός ποιητής, όχι μόνο επειδή είναι ο συγγραφέας των λέξεων του ελληνικού ύμνου, αλλά κυρίως επειδή ήταν ο πρώτος που ενσωμάτωσε τις λαϊκές παραδόσεις στη νεοελληνική λογοτεχνία: κοινοτική τραγούδια και τα επιτεύγματα της αναγεννησιακής κρητικής λογοτεχνίας. PL : Solomos, główna postać szkoły jońskiej, uważany jest za greckiego poetę narodowego nie tylko dlatego, że jest autorem słów greckiego hymnu, ale przede wszystkim dlatego, że jako pierwszy włączył tradycje ludowe do nowożytnej literatury greckiej: pieśni i dorobek renesansowej literatury kreteńskiej. Ponadto w swojej pracy Solomos konsekwentnie posługiwał się mówionym językiem greckim - demotycznym, nadającym kształt współczesnemu językowi greckiemu.
