Hamlin Park is an underappreciated natural site in the Mount Pleasant area. No entry fee. If you haven't been to this oasis from the urban sprawl, now you have a reason to visit. The cache is about 50 feet off the park's loop trail to a scenic pond. Note that this is NOT to be confused with the Hamlin Park Trail, which is a separate site farther north along Rifle Range Road. Take note of the parking coordinates so you go to the right trail.
It's a smallish container on the ground, in plain sight behind a tree. Be mindful of muggles, though they usually aren't there in large numbers. Spray yourself with DEET, especially around your ankles to deter ticks.
Initial contents include a wooden FTF coin, a TB, a logbook, a pencil, and some swag.
Congrats to OrangeCat8 for the FTF. His log indicates that I may need to update the coordinates.
