Pineywoods KM1 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Prime Reviewer: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Mission Tejas State Park. In our strong desire to show our continuing support for our state parks, ALL geocachers must pay the entrance fee or show your Texas Conservation Passport in order to log this cache! Located close to trails, but trails are not flat. Do not head out cross country in this park. There are many elevation changes that can be dangerous to you, and sensitive areas that should be protected. Thanks.

This cache is an ammo box. As anywhere in Texas, bug repellent will help. Also watch out for poison ivy. We do not live in the immediate area, but will travel to take care of the cache. Be sure to look well. We've made two trips to replace it, only to find it still there. If there is a problem, let us know. P.S. Thanks to George for permission to hide this cache. NOTE: The Park Rangers love to hear how geocaching brings people to their little-known park, so let them know you're there to cache! There is an update to the hint - the cache was in a tree stump, but stump has since rotted away - I guess that's the sign of a really old cache!
