This is a beginner's missing link type of cache and is especially made for those having difficulty my 'The Missing Link' cache.
It is located in a linear parks region which runs generally east to west. The area is *semi-dog* friendly. You'll see what I mean by the signs. Bring your dog if you have one, or borrow one other-wise. Take time to enjoy the parks!
One of the redirect labels is missing. When you can't find a label subtract 0.388 minutes from the North coordinate minutes of your last known position and add 0.174 minutes to the West coordinate minutes of your last known position. This will give you the cache location. Use the geochecker below.
Go to Waypoint 1 (N45 22.275 W75 36.920) where you will find some postal boxes. You can park real close.
In the first stage you must gather some preliminary information:
Note the bar code number of the right postal box. Proceed a very short distance on the trail and turn left (westward) on the long trail. Soon you will see a hydro box on your right. Note the yellow 3 digit number. Continue a short distance to another green hydro box on your left. Note the yellow 3 digit number. Now, go to Waypoint 2 (N45 22.146 W75 37.128) where there (was) a garbage container and a bench and a NO DOGS sign.
In order to get to the first redirect label you must now do some calculations. Sit down on the bench; it may take a while.
Minutes of the North Coordinate for the position of the first label: Ignore the first 2 digits of the right bar code number (they are 41). Add to the resulting number the three digit number from the first green hydro box. Add 36 (which was the number of vertical slats making up the 'old' garbage container). Add the number formed by the first 3 digits of the 5 digit By-Law number on the NO DOGS sign. Now divide the result by 1000 and add 19.092 .
Minutes of the West Coordinates of the position of the first label: Ignore the first 2 digits of the right bar code number (they are 41). Add to the resulting number the three digit number from the second green hydro box. Add 100 times the product of the number of timbers on the back of the bench by the number of timbers on the seat of the bench. Add the number formed by the last two digits of the 5 digit By-Law number on the NO DOGS sign. Now divide the result by 1000 and add 33.374 .
Now if you've done everything correctly, you should have the coordinates of the position of the first redirect label. Proceed from there in the usual fashion.
