Red Centre Experience - GC6825Z
was an event held in Alice Springs by the Oz Mega Committee over Easter 2017, before my time in the game, but it did attract locals from Townsville, Charters Towers and around the world as the Flag Counter on its cache page indicated. karicka, burgo78 and EatSleepCacheOnline attended as well as emilywanders who claimed this event for her 400th Find.
Events certainly appear in geocachers milestone lists, when Cachers may hold an event to celebrate hitting the milestone with caching friends, or when attending particular events like a Mega or Giga events or even QOGM (Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster)
Seems a locals cacher was lucky to return with a handbrake issue making life interesting at one point but it certainly seems like an event that I wish I had of been caching at the time to attend, although a visit to Uluru should have been on the cards if I was out that way.
For this challenge you need to have found 400 caches.
Regardless of the Checker output, you would know how many caches you have found. If you have found over the required amount, log it on the day. Don't be full of shit like many others claiming these on consecutive days just to claim another challenge. If not, you can always write a note and claim the find once you qualify. If you wish to own up to your own milestone cache and if it was targeted or just what you found along the way.
