安平水景公園內的水景橋視野極佳，加上水景公園景觀開闊，漫步於橋上可駐足欣賞水景公園內湖港景緻，在橋的最高點還可以看到整個安平的景觀，以及著名的安平夕照，不論早晨與黃昏均可見安平無限的美景。從附近早期涵管孔洞遺跡，還可發現昔日此處水域通往運鹽古航道與安平港，證明安平歷史與航運文化密不可分。
Waterview Bridge in Historic Waterview Park enjoys excellent views. The open expanse of the park means visitors can admire the lagoon and harbor views from the bridge. The highest point of the bridge offers sweeping views over the whole of Aping and Anping’s famed sunsets. There are wonderful views to be seen at dawn or dusk. Remnants of old sewer works indicate that the area was once connected to the ancient salt trading route and Anping Harbor, clear evidence that the history of Anping is inextricably bound up with the sailing culture.
