The Aurora Wetlands are home to many creatures. Visitors can take advantage of a number of short hikes on mowed trails that loop around gently rolling open fields overlooking a large wetland and a mature forest. During your hike you may see bald eagles, great blue herons, deer, squirrels, bats, coyotes, woodchucks and other wildlife. Over 125 species of birds have been spotted here. Depending on conditions, the trails can be fairly wet in some areas and mosquitoes and flies are plentiful in season, so come prepared.
