There's a long running joke whenever I've shown up to an event that was more than a few miles from my home coordinates I always mentioned I told my wife I was picking up a tool from the hardware store. It got to the point where fellow cachers were keeping track of what tools I said I was acquiring and would call me out if I used the same tool more than twice.

There are many varieties of sandpaper, with variations in the paper or backing, the material used for the grit, grit size, and the bond.
Sandpaper is produced in a range of grit sizes and is used to remove material from surfaces, whether to make them smoother, to remove a layer of material, or sometimes to make the surface rougher.
