Wombling 2 Cache In Trash Out® Event

Kaz, & Kevin invite you to join us in doing our 2nd CITO at this location. during CITO season.

The given co-ordinates will bring you to a layby on the A655 (Normanton By-pass). There is sufficient parking for around 20 cars, if parked carefully. Please dont park on the footpath or on the road. Upon arrival a H&S briefing will be given, please follow any advise given. We may ask some of you (if enough turn up) to go to the second parking waypoint and litter pick there which will be given on the day.

If you have your own litter pickers (or bag hoop), please bring those along. There will be limited supply of pickers to borrow for the session.

There will be a supply of white litter bags (Wakefield Council Branded), please only use these.

We suggest you wear appropriate clothing. Although it's along  a footpath, it is lined with hawthorn bushes

Sturdy footwear and thick gloves would also be recommended.

If you have a hi-viz jacket or gillet that would be recommended too.

This can be a busy road with fast moving traffic. Please take care, especially if you bring children.

This will be my first attempt at doing an event so as you can see I've asked my good friend Kevin to help and support me.  Cakes and drinks (cold) unless I can borrow some big flasks will be provided on the day.

TBs: We can only accept TBs that can fit in our box, so if you planning on bringing any large TBs please make plans for them to be collected.
