This lively mural is a great addition to the historic lakeshore arc of Menomonie. There are historic landmarks and scenes from yesteryear, as well as just some fun! Can you find the two gnomes? The final for this multicache is less than a mile away - an easy drive or long walk.
The final is located at N44 52.ABC W91 54.DEF where you can fill in the missing numbers by inspecting the mural and answering the following questions. Some items in the mural may be close to ground level and thereby harder to spot in winter - like those fun gnomes!
A = number of words on the sign in the mural that is written in Spanish. (The same message is also in English on another sign.)
B = number of Holstein cattle
C = number of yellow school buses
D = number of times the name of the hotel is repeated in the same panel
E = three young people are listed at the bottom of those who helped paint the mural. They all have the same number of letters in their names, that's E.
