Actually this ground is home to the Highett Bulldogs Football and Cricket teams.
There is of course an off leash doggie play area, which can be quite a busy spot.
This reserve actually has a lot to offer......
The Highett Reserve is a large sporting venue and recreation space with three ovals, cricket nets, half court basketball, a dedicated dog off leash area, fly fishing pool, and the expansive Turner Street Playground in among historic native and exotic trees.
The ovals are home to the Highett Cricket Club, who first formed in 1888, and the Highett Football Club, with a history dating back to 1929.
The precinct is adjacent to the Waves Leisure Centre, and home to the Moorabbin Archery club - established in 1946.
Turner Street Playground features huge wooden fort structure with lots of opportunities to climb, jump and slide, a variety of swings, toadstool and animal carvings as well as the 'Mobilus' for 360 degree sliding and rotating motions for the brave or excitement seeking kids.
There is a shelter with BBQs and picnic tables, shaded seating, a drinking fountain and toilets, with free parking available.
THE CACHE can be found at the end of the off leash dog park.
There are various carparks close by.
