AUG FOOD TRUCK EVENT GROUP
Let’s gather at the Farmers Market kiosk at 10:45 am for the group photo. We can then wander over to the Food Trucks early to see what they are offering and gather to have lunch along the Chippewa River.
Come and share a story or two with your fellow Chippewa Valley geocachers when we gather at Phoenix Park for this Food Truck Friday Event. Travel bugs welcome. Throughout the summer there will be food trucks every first Friday of the month. Up to eight food, snack and drink establishments will open their food trucks in front of RCU bank on the river side so all can purchase and enjoy cuisine from the mobile chefs.
Here are a few new offerings for the first Friday in September, the day of our event:

Serving distinctly Southern wood smoked BBQ, fresh off the smoker onsite. Pulled pork & chicken sandwiches, corn on the cob, potatoes, nachos, rip tips, burnt ends, and half or full rack of ribs.

Another offering is a truck serving a pizza experience fueled by fire, Reuben Pizza – corned beef & swiss, Forest Floor Pizza - garlic herb ricotta, mushrooms, red onion, aged Italian cheese from Eau Galle Cheese. OMG (Oh My Garlic) - red sauce, minced garlic, roasted garlic, fresh mozzarella, garlic oil

One trolley will be serving inventive food with a Mediterranean and Cajun inspiration. It includes the blackened chicken alfredo, carbonara, pan bagnat, crepes, gumbo, beignets, croque monsieur, and more.
