This second hide by us is in a park near our hometown. The park was created where a housing development was destroyed during the flood of 1996. This development, and now the park have had some significant events in my families history. As children, both my wife and I had several friends who lived here. During the flood, I was actually helping to rescue people from their homes. The development was destroyed but the community came together to form this beautiful park. Pavilions throughout the park were erected as Boy Scout Eagle projects from the troop my son was part of, and I helped to lead. Both of our children's high school graduation parties were held at the pavilions, and many other events happen here year round. The park was recently updated to include a frisbee golf course as well.
Enjoy walking the trail while hunting for this and other caches in the area. There is a chance for muggles, especially during weekend events at the park. Bring your own pen for this micro!
