Troop 127 has placed a cache to celebrate the year Scouting began in the USA.
(The Boy Scouts of America was founded in the same year as this former church was built in Crystal Lake, IL.)
The church is now a Masonic Lodge and a meeting place for various community organizations, including the Scouts, Job's Daughters, and the Masons.
The Nunda Masonic Building Corporation (which owns the building and site) has granted permission for the Scouts to place the geocache, and welcomes Geocachers to search for the cache.
