Join us for a heartwarming Geocaching event at Panera as we commemorate the life and memories of an incredible individual, Deb Tambor, known fondly within our community as TamNCNY. A cheerful spirit and a passionate geocacher, Deb's love for first-to-finds was infectious. She brought warmth and joy to every cache she visited, every person she met.
Though we lost Deb far too early on September 27, 2013, at the tender age of 33, her spirit and memories continue to resonate within us. Born and raised in Rockland County, Deb cherished her hometown of New City. In 2012, she took a new journey and moved to NJ. She was not just an avid geocacher but also a dedicated Yankees fan. She left an indelible mark, leaving behind three wonderful children and countless friends from the Geocaching community and among fellow Yankees enthusiasts.
Whether you had the privilege of knowing Deb or you are hearing her story for the first time, we invite everyone to come together in her memory. Let’s share stories and smiles, and chase those geocaches just as she would have loved. Let's honor Deb's memory in the spirit of celebration and in the quest for that ever-elusive smiley.
Special Note: We have designed a limited number of commemorative pathtags in Deb's memory. These will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. So, ensure you're here early to secure one.
