COMING SOON: the new Belmont County Bigfoot GeoTour is launching Saturday, September 30, 2023.
At 10am on Saturday Sept. 30, the Belmont County Bigfoot GeoTour will officially launch and cachers may begin their hunt! Join us at 9am at Barkcamp State Park Overlook Shelter in Belmont Ohio, as we count down to the launch! We will have passports to hand out and snacks to prepare you for a day of exploring.
You never know what you may find hiding in the woods of Belmont County! From a Longhorn cattle ranch to an Ohio River overlook, from beautiful parks to historic scenery, geocache containers can be hidden anywhere, and will have you exploring surroundings of our county that you might have never experienced before. The Belmont County Bigfoot GeoTour has 20+ geocaches just waiting for you to find.
Join us at the wrap-up event! After a fun day of geocaching, bring your completed passport to collect your new geocoin and join us to celebrate Saturday, Sept. 30th from 5-7pm at the Pike 40 in Morristown, OH. Be sure to check out their feature drink - just for us: Sasquatch Sangria!
Complete the GeoTour by finding 20 cache codes to redeem a trackable Belmont County Bigfoot geocaching coin. The first 40 cachers to complete the Belmont County Bigfoot GeoTour will receive a limited edition gold, trackable geocaching coin. After that, cachers that complete will recieve a black trackable geocoin.
