The Story:
A pirate called Polly sailed the seas and pillaged villages until one day she met up with the wrong group. The Nazca of South America were a headhunting tribe that were also known to shrink the heads of their captives.
Polly didn't believe anyone did such things so she ignored the warnings of other explorers and pirates when they shared their stories. Polly did however, believe the Nazca had great wealth and was determined to pillage as much as she could.
The day came when Polly and her crew made land fall on the western coast of what is today Brazil, in South America. She planned to befriend them and then attack. Little did she know that the Nazca had plans of their own.
The Nazca prepared a meal that they graciously shared with Polly and her crew. Everyone appeared to be enjoying the newly forming friendship. Then Polly and each crew member began feeling very tired.
At this point, Polly started to feel fearful but was so overtaken by the substance they had been given that she could only watch in horror.
What we know of the rest of the story is from Polly's 2nd in charge, Lefty Lucy. Lefty felt the drowsiness and muscle weakness just as the others but for some reason the effects didn't last. So, Lefty did her best to act as though she was still under the influence as she planned an escape.
We know Lefty was successful in her escape because she stole the shrunken heads of Polly's crew. All the heads are accounted for except Polly's.
THE ONLY TRUTH OF THIS STORY IS THAT THE NAZCA PEOPLE EXISTED AND WERE HEADHUNTERS
