I was taking a little side trip on the Flat Frog Trail looking for a good spot for a cache I wanted to place. I didn't find a fantastic spot, but I did find this tree that looks like a snake with its tongue sticking out towards the trail. Or maybe it's a dragon or a velociraptor! This tree-reptile looks so cool that I decided to settle for an acceptable cache spot just across the trail. To spot it, head north about 20' from the cache, then turn around and look at the oak tree on the right (uphill) side of the trail. Let me know if you see it and what you think it looks like!
The cache is a medium-sized Snaplock container hidden a few steps from the trail on the downhill side. It's just an average behind-a-tree hide. I got this container from DragonsWest before he moved out of the area, along with others that I'll also be hiding soon!
This cache is only a few miles round trip from Coe HQ, with very minimal elevation gain. It should be easily accessible even in the summer. Coe is open 24/7.
