September 9th is Worldwide Flashmob Day! In dozens of cities around the world, hundreds of geocachers are hosting flash mobs: some coordinated at the same exact time! The WWFM is the annual GEOCACHING flash mob extravaganza which was started in 2007 by Team PodCacher.
This is only the second time that I've hosted a WWFM event, the first being all the way back in 2011 when it was WWFM VIII. If I remember, I'll dig out that year's geocoin so people can discover it at this event. There's no official souvenir for WWFM this year. This event deliberately has the exact same coordinates as my 2011 event.
If people would like to do some sort of theming, then please feel free to attend with something London related. For example, that can be wearing a themed T-shirt, or carrying something iconic from London. The London Calling mega merchandise counts! We'll start the event at 6, and have the usual chat about caches etc, take a picture about 6:20 in front of a fountain and then we can disperse at 6:30.
