Please join us for a lighted boat parade to kick off GUIE weekend. On the water activities will start at 6:00 pm. Be ready to line up for the parade at 6:30 and we'll likely be wrapped up by 7:30 or 7:45. The Flagstaff Floatilla X - Revenge of the DNF event takes place at the public boat launch off Route 27. Use your imagination and decorate your boat with what ever reminds you of the most frustrating DNF you have ever not found. Let the judges know your story and thought process. Prizes for the best represetation of your DNF will be handed out based on creativity and originality for the boat and paddler that best tells the story.
Immediately following the parade, we will attack a DNF pinata full of more prizes!
The event is at the boat landing and open to anyone with or without a boat. Everyone is welcome to paddle as far as the weather and lake conditions permit, both before and after the event. Appropriate safety gear and PFDs are required per Maine state law.
Come join the fun and either watch and judge from the landing or be a participant. Looking forward to all joining in on the fun. The event will be held rain or shine.
