Geocache Description:

Green Ammo Box.

From the East parking area (N28 08.207 W082 33.343) this is about a 1.2-mile hike to the cache (i.e. 2.4-mile round trip) so plan accordingly. Depending on the season you may do quite a bit of wading through water. It was not too bad when we placed the cache, though it was a little cold.

I love to come to this area as I feel I can really get away from civilization While placing this cache my boys and I saw much wildlife, including deer. We hiked around in the preserve for about 5 hours and did not see another human.

While here don’t forget to visit the other caches in this area. My 11 year old, Wil, did this and the other caches in this preserve. He had no problems except for occasional areas of sharp thorny blackberry bushes, which did slow progress causing us to take it easy and serpentine around them.

Are you tough enough for the challenge? I hear geocachers are a tough breed
