Labor Day @ Rotary Park

End your Labor Day weekend by joining us at our 3rd annual event at Rotary Park up Hobble Creek Canyon in Springville for a fun get-together. 

Sept 4. Starts at 6PM. The pavillion is reserved.

We'll have goodies to share and marshmallows to roast.

Bring the whole family! We'll have some lawn games set up and there are swings. There's a baseball field and I believe a volleyball net is up for any who are feeling active. 

If you are bringing kids who would be interested in a treasure hunt, let me know (as soon as possible) and I'll plan one with fun treasures at the end.

As is tradition at this Labor Day event, we'll have fun cache containers to give away and a drawing for prizes.

Containers

Not all containers would make good geocache containers as they aren’t waterproof, etc.

A few of them have logs (and maybe swag) in them making them ready to use as a cache container, but obviously you can use them how you want.

To start, each person (any age) can find and claim 2 containers.

If you find a container you don’t want, leave it where it is for someone else to find.

If everyone who wants to has claimed two containers, wait for the announcement and then you may find and claim another (until we run out.)

Trade with each other as you like.

Each container has a number inside of it. Please cross that number off the list below so I know what containers are left. Leave the number in the container.

After everyone has their 2-3 containers, we will use the numbers for a drawing for various goodies.

Treasure Hunt

There will be a treasure hunt set up (for any age.)

Start by getting your first clue from runningartist (our son, Tallen).

When you find the treasure box, don’t let on so that others won’t know where it is until they find it.

First take the top number off of the post-it pad (to be used in the drawing).

Then choose your treasures from the box.

 

 

Disclaimer

MANY of the items are 3D printed and some are sturdier than others. Especially with the treasure items, be gentle with the more delicate items so they don’t break. Most are solid and can withhold regular use, but some will be more fragile.
