Geocache Description:

An easy hike through the Mill Pond Area in West Newbury.

Cloe

The Mill Pond area, encompassing over 200 acres, provides passive recreational activities including cross-country skiing, hiking, fishing, horse riding rings and trails, as well as a winter carnival, fall hayrides and other family oriented activities organized by the Mill Pond Committee. It’s an easy hike to the cache from the parking area off route 113. Good cache to do with kids and pets. The Mill Pond is one of our dog Cloe’s favorite spots. (Yes, she’s a Boston Terrier.) Original contents are a green plastic snake, a Tonka helicopter, a rubber duck, a candle, a deck of cards, a first aid kit and a pack of superballs. There is a camera in the cache. Please take a photo and note the number in the logbook. Enjoy!
