The village hall is situated in a quiet country lane, adjacent to a large playing field in the tranquil village of Staple. It was completed in 1979, following the receipt of a grant from the Millennium Commission as part of a Rural Action group of 160 village halls. It is owned by Staple Parish Council and managed by a group of elected trustees.
It is used for a variety of activities, including Parish Council meetings, Polling Station for both Local and General Elections and many more. The published coords are for the Village Hall, which also has nearby (free) parking.
