A música é uma forma de arte que se constitui na combinação de vários sons e ritmos, seguindo uma pré-organização ao longo do tempo. É considerada por diversos autores como uma prática cultural e humana. Não se conhece nenhuma civilização ou agrupamento que não possua manifestações musicais próprias. Embora nem sempre seja feita com esse objetivo, a música pode ser considerada como uma forma de arte, considerada por muitos como sua principal função.
Na Ilha do Porto Santo, as manifestações culturais faziam-se quase sempre acompanhar por música. Era através da música, que eram expressas as dificuldades que eram vividas nesta terra, árdua e implacável.
Music is an art form that consists of the combination of various sounds and rhythms, following a pre-organization over time. It is considered by several authors as a cultural and human practice. There is no known civilization or group that does not have its own musical manifestations. Although it is not always done with this objective, music can be considered as an art form, considered by many as its main function.
On Porto Santo Island, cultural events were almost always accompanied by music. It was through music that the difficulties experienced in this arduous and unforgiving land were expressed.
[A multi-cache/ The multicache]
A multi-cache "Deserto com música 🎷" pretende proporcionar um passeio curto e agradável numa das extremidades das Dunas. Esta multi-cache surgiu com o propósito inicial de criar a melhor multi-cache na Ilha do Porto Santo. Posteriormente, foi adaptada ao "PGD" e integrada nas Dunas.
Esta multi-cache possui duas etapas (físicas), que o levarão às coordenadas finais. Ambas as etapas contém informação necessária, de modo, a completar com sucesso a multi-cache.
A primeira etapa é constituída pelo guia de solução e as coordenadas para a segunda etapa. A segunda etapa é constituída por uma pauta musical que depois de descodificada, irá levá-lo às coordenadas finais. A cache contém material de escrita, um logbook alusivo ao tema e uma pedra "PGD".
Um bloco de notas, poderá dar jeito na realização desta multi-cache. Não retire nenhum elemento das etapas, pois isso impossibilitará futuros registos. Não coloque fotos que possam denunciar a localização das etapas ou informação precisa à conclusão da multi-cache.
Apesar da cache encontrar-se num local pouco movimentado, pedimos que tenha atenção a possíveis muggles. Foi uma cache da qual dispensamos algum tempo e tivemos muito gosto em concebê-la.
The multi-cache "Desert with music 🎷" aims to provide a short and pleasant walk at one of the ends of the Dunes. This multi-cache was created with the initial purpose of creating the best multi-cache on Porto Santo Island. Later, it was adapted to the "PGD" and integrated into the Dunes.
This multi-cache has two (physical) steps, which will take you to the final coordinates. Both steps contain necessary information in order to successfully complete the multi-cache.
The first step consists of the solution guide and the coordinates for the second step. The second stage consists of a musical score that, once decoded, will take you to the final coordinates. The cache contains writing material, a logbook related to the theme and a "PGD" stone.
A notepad may come in handy when carrying out this multi-cache. Do not remove any element from the steps, as this will make future recordings impossible. Do not include photos that could reveal the location of the steps or precise information about the completion of the multi-cache.
Although the cache is in a less-crowded location, we ask that you be aware of possible muggles. It was a cache that we spent some time on and had great pleasure in designing.

Para resolver esta multi-cache, comece por deslocar-se à primeira etapa.
1° etapa - Aqui, encontrará um recipiente, que contém apenas um "guia de solução" e as coordenadas para a segunda etapa. Nesta etapa, precisa apenas de anotar a informação, tirar uma foto ou decorar (o que não é recomendado) o guia de solução. Atenção, não leve consigo o guia.
Depois de tirar a foto ao guia de solução, e anotar as coordenadas da segunda etapa, dirija-se até estas.
2° etapa - Aqui, encontrará um envelope. No seu interior, tem uma pauta musical. Cada letra presente nas coordenadas finais, corresponde a uma nota musical, que por sua vez corresponde a um número, definido no guia de solução na primeira etapa.
Assim, e com toda a informação necessária obtida, descobrirá as coordenadas finais.

Resumidamente, para resolver esta multi-cache, terá de ir até à primeira etapa. Aqui, obterá as coordenadas para a segunda etapa e o guia de solução para resolver o problema que encontrará na segunda etapa. Chegado à segunda etapa, encontrará uma pauta musical. Através da informação obtida na primeira etapa, conseguirá descodificar as coordenadas finais, através das notas músicas e do guia de solução.
To resolve this multi-cache, start by going to the first step.

PGD - Projeto de Geocaching nas Dunas/ Geocaching Project in the Dunes
O Projeto de Geocaching nas Dunas (PGD), surgiu com o intuito de proporcionar aos geocachers um conjunto de caches com diversidade e qualidade. Acreditamos, que este conjunto de cache contempla algumas das melhores caches da Ilha do Porto Santo.
As caches estão todas relativamente próximas umas das outras, ou pelo menos, conforme foi possível. Assim o fizemos, pois pretendemos que o conjunto de caches, “PGD”, fosse realizado todo no mesmo dia e a pé. Certamente, irá perder-se e deslumbrar-se com tamanha beleza presente ao longo das caches. Salientamos que não existe a necessidade de encontrar todas as caches num mesmo dia, embora foram idealizadas para tal.
Todas as caches (à exceção do “PGD – Relaxing Porto Santo”) encontram-se nas dunas. As dunas aqui existentes, tal como, as formações geomorfológicas, são de um valor natural incalculável. Dada a fragilidade deste ecossistema, pedimos atenção redobrada na deslocação entre as diversas caches e na abordagem a estas.
Este projeto, se assim o podemos chamar, foi idealizado e posto em prática pelo Cesar99Natacha, e em parte, com o apoio dos restantes membros da Team_CCCC.

Recomendações para realizar o “PGD”:
- Não aconselhamos a realização do conjunto de caches durante e após períodos de precipitação moderada a forte, pois dada a tipologia do solo, este torna-se extremamente frágil, tornando o impacte humano muito superior ao que poderia ser.
- É recomendado levar água, pois é um local árido e com humidade baixa, por noma. Quanto à comida, é apenas opcional. Lembre-se de não deixar lixo para trás.
- Tenha o mínimo de interações possíveis com o meio. Passe apenas por onde seja necessário, sem danificar as pedras/dunas. Não perturbe a fauna e a flora. Apenas comtemple-as vendo. Não retire nada do meio natural.
- Recomendamos realizar todo o conjunto de caches num mesmo dia e preferencialmente a pé.
- Lembre-se de que andará maioritariamente sobre a areia. Assim, leve o calçado que ache mais cômodo ao meio.
- Apesar de ter privacidade na maioria das caches, solicitamos sempre que tenha em atenção os muggles, pedindo assim, discrição.
- Leia atentamente as informações em cada cache na seção “[A cache]”, pois aqui, terá informação especifica e necessária sobre cada cache.
The Dunes Geocaching Project (PGD) was created with the aim of providing geocachers with a set of caches with diversity and quality. We believe that this cache set includes some of the best caches on Porto Santo Island.
The caches are all relatively close to each other, or at least as close as possible. We did so, as we intended for the set of caches, “PGD”, to be carried out all on the same day and on foot. You will certainly get lost and be dazzled by such beauty present throughout the caches. We emphasize that there is no need to find all the caches on the same day, although they were designed for this purpose.
All caches (with the exception of “PGD – Relaxing Porto Santo”) are located in the dunes. The dunes that exist here, as well as the geomorphological formations, are of incalculable natural value. Given the fragility of this ecosystem, we ask for extra attention when traveling between the different caches and when approaching them.
This project, if we can call it that, was designed and put into practice by Cesar99Natacha, and in part, with the support of the other members of Team_CCCC.

Recommendations for carrying out the “PGD”:
- We do not recommend creating a set of caches during and after periods of moderate to heavy rainfall, as given the type of soil, it becomes extremely fragile, making the human impact much greater than it could be.
- It is recommended to bring water, as it is an arid place with low humidity, by nature. As for the food, it is just optional. Remember not to leave trash behind.
- Have as few interactions as possible with the environment. Only go where necessary, without damaging the rocks/dunes. Do not disturb the fauna and flora. Just contemplate seeing them. Do not take anything from the natural environment.
- We recommend doing the entire set of caches in the same day and preferably on foot.
- Remember that you will mostly be walking on sand. So, take the shoes that you find most comfortable in the middle.
- Despite having privacy in most caches, we always ask that you be aware of muggles, thus asking for discretion.
- Carefully read the information on each cache in the “[A cache]” section, as here you will have specific and necessary information about each cache.
