Sometimes if you look carefully at a habitat, you might be lucky enough to see an animal who is “breaking in”. At the snow leopard habitat, watch for squirrels and other wild animals that are sometimes referred to as “adrenaline junkies” by the animal care professionals. These speedy animals are known for taking chances and racing through a habitat. Now whose habitat would you rather race through if you were a mouse… a giant cat’s or a wolf’s?
