🌲PINEYWOODS PROMENADE🌲

 The first section of the pineywoods promenade will take you through pineywoods & Prarie sun pursuit of caches galore. Wander along lengthy gravel roads & discover remnants of Trinity county ghost towns, ranches, tree farms, & other backroads spectacles. 
 

Most of this power trail is fairly easily navigable by all vehicles but the final section of this stretch through the national forest would be better suited for  vehicles with higher clearances. The road was very dry when we hid it but after rains traction could be trickier. There is 1 tree climber & a few spots with steep grades to climb to get to the cache from the road. GPS will be very bouncy throughout the trail in sections with heavy tree cover. We used 2 phones & coordinate averaging to get the coords as best as possible. Cell service can also be spotty. Bring water & food as there aren't many places out here to stop for provisions.
