La cache è (spero) ben nascosta ma potrebbe esserci molta gente a seconda del momento, siate furtivi!

The cache is (hopefully) well hidden but there could be a lot of people depending on the moment, be stealthy!

Piazza Pertinace è uno scorcio da non perdere nel centro storico di Alba. Il nome della piazza rende omaggio all’Imperatore Romano originario di Alba, Publio Elvio Pertinace, di cui si può ammirare un busto a centro piazza.
Di fronte alla chiesa spiccano i resti del Tempio romano dedicato alla triade capitolina Giove, Giunione e Minerva, che si estendeva con il fronte fino all’odierna Piazza Risorgimento (l’antico foro romano).
In passato la Piazza ospitava il mercato dei bachi da seta e dei piccoli animali, mentre oggi ospita il Mercato della Terra (sempre al sabato + domenica solo da Settembre a Novembre) ed è la vetrina dell’Associazione delle Botteghe di San Giovanni.
Curiosità: non fatevi ingannare, se vi trovaste a parlare con un vero Albese scoprirete che questa piazza viene anche chiamata "Piazza San Giovanni"!

Piazza Pertinace is a glimpse you cannot miss in the historic center of Alba. The name of the square pays homage to the Roman Emperor originally from Alba, Publius Helvius Pertinax, whose bust can be admired in the center of the square.
In front of the church stand out the remains of the Roman Temple dedicated to the Capitoline triad Jupiter, Junion and Minerva, which extended with the front up to today's Piazza Risorgimento (the ancient Roman forum).
In the past, the square housed the market for silkworms and small animals, while today you'll find the Earth Market (always on saturday + sunday only from September to November) and is the showcase of the San Giovanni Workshops Association.
Fun fact: don't get duped, if you are talking to a true Albese you will find that this square is also called "Piazza San Giovanni"!
