Geocache Description:

Millennium Mileposts, located in the UK, are a series of unique markers that were erected to celebrate the turn of the millennium in the year 2000. These mileposts serve as both historical monuments and wayfinding landmarks, commemorating a significant moment in time. Imagine them as tall, slender pillars standing in various locations across the country. These markers provide a fascinating glimpse into the past and offer a sense of connection to the passage of time.

In this series you will be visiting Godley to Apethorn millenium milepost walk. Each post you find will bear inscriptions that mark the distance to Godley and Apethorn.

If you’ve followed the series in order, the cache is on the left side of the path. Just after the Milepost designed by 3rd Gee Cross Beavers & Scouts.

The cache is a micro shiny silver.
