Write up from the Original Cache -
These structures toggle the memory of a time gone by. Years when you would huddle inside to get out of the wind or rain. Now these seem to be an eye sore along many highways. Many have fallen into disrepair and have become trash collectors. Today busses stop right at their rider’s door, imagine how much gas that takes stopping and starting every 100 yards.
So, you ask yourself why are these still around? Well, the structures are owned by an advertising agency that sells the side advertising to local businesses. Most of the structures themselves are placed on the public right away so it is hard to have them removed even though they are not needed. So, enjoy hunting the cache that I have placed here, but please park off the roadway.
Honoring a Great Cache -
Over a decade ago, I found a cache placed by cacher known for some devious hides. I DNFed it the first two times I searched, but after getting a hint from the owner, I succeeded in making the find. This cache was placed in honor of that amazing hide. I have purposely NOT given the GC code, original cache name, or original cache hider's name to prevent people from visiting the archived cache to get additional information. Anyone who found the original cache will have an easy time with this one. Anyone else can feel the same frustrations the rest of us had when we searched, and the same joys we experienced when we finally got that smiley.
