Geocache Description:

Formerly "Humpty's treasure", this is one of the Dorset Badger’s first two caches and is now part of the Badger’s trail loop.

Please see the first cache for more details of the loop.

If going anti-clockwise, look out on your left for the path above the road as this will get you off some of the tarmac.

The unusual octagonal tower of Nordons House near this cache hints at it’s importance and history, originally the owners of this house owned much of the land on and around Hyde Hill. Local historians say the house has links with “The Moorings”, an E.S Prior designed house in West Bay.

This cache is in a small container, but may be large enough for the odd trackable or prize.

If you don't have time for the full loop, this cache can be combined with Badger’s Trail #11 - Blood Lane and Badger's trail #10 - There will be BLOOD! for a short and steep mini walk.
