Geocache Description:

Part of the Badger’s Trail, please see the first cache for more details of the loop.

This cache is a micro around the base of the Blood Lane hollow way, named the macabre “Blood Lane” as it was the route farmers brought their sheep down from the fields to the abattoir!

If going clockwise, look out on your right for the path above the road after you cross Nordons) as this will keep you off the tarmac for a little longer. If going in reverse/ anti-clockwise, prepare your legs, you are going UP!

If you want a shorter walk, after grabbing this cache head up the track  to grab Badger's trail #10 - There will be BLOOD! come back a little way and turn right onto a steep field. Work your way to the bottom which comes out on Crock Lane. From here, turn left to grab Badger’s Trail #12 - Nordon’s octagon. A nice triangular (if short and steep) walk if you park in the recommended spot.
