Why? We two Wellingtonians are on a road trip from home to the Bay of Islands and back.
It's been a wee while since we set foot in Auckland, and now that it's spring, a picnic in the park seems appropriate.
Where: Gribblehirst Park where there is a nice round picnic table with seating, or spread your picnic blanket under one of the spreading trees nearby.
Bring: Your lunch, and your appetite for caching stories from us Wellingtonians.
