Enclavi nel Colosseo
Nel mundo meraviglioso delle rocce ignee, este Earthcaché vuole insegnarvi uno dei modi in cui possono apparire mescolate con altre rocce (ignee e non), nella crosta terrestre.
All'interno della struttura mostrata dalle rocce ignee, una di queste sono le enclavi (frammenti di roccia che il magma ha incluso durante la risalita o movimento).
Esistono quattro tipi di enclave: xenoliti, enclavi microglanulari, magmi misti ed enclavi micacee.

Respecto a los ENCLAVES MICROGRANULARES:
- Se caracterizan por presentar formas normalmente redondeadas o elipsoidales.
- Suelen estar compuestos de grano más bien fino y no es frecuente que haya mucha diferencia entre los granos de la roca principal y la del enclave.
- Tienen un alto contenido en minerales máficos: melilita, olivino, ortopiroxeno, augita, egirina, diópsido, anfíboles y biotita.
- Los granitos son las rocas magmáticas que más enclaves tienen y además, la roca que origina el enclave también suele ser magmática, por lo que se podría considerar también una mezcla de magmas.
Las rocas del enclave suelen ser dioritas, tonalitas y granodioritas.
