The Chicken Cache
First off, I dedicated this cache to a very curious chicken who followed me around when I was looking for a spot to hide this cache. This one's for you, buddy.
I have always enjoyed finding and solving a good gadget cache, so I decided to create one of my own. This cache is located on a tree just off the edge of the parking lot, and you should have no trouble locating the cache. The trouble comes to when actually getting to the log. This is a two-step cache.
Step #1
The first step to solving the cache is finding out how to open the door. Examine the cache. Does anything look different? Once you locate the abnormality, use it to "unlock" the door.

Step #2
Once inside the cache, you will locate the actual house of the log. It is a pill bottle that requires a 4-digit code to open. On the inside of the door to the cache, there is a 4-letter code. Use it to solve the code for the pill bottle. Once you think you have it, slide the numbers into the pill bottle and pull off the lid. If you were able to open the pill bottle, you have solved the cache and can sign the log and claim your smiley.
Don't forget to put everything back where you found it, so the next finder won't be spoiled on the puzzle. There is room for small trackables and tradeables inside the cache. You do not get credit for finding this cache unless you sign the actual log inside the pill bottle. Any logs that do not meet the criteria will be deleted.
Other Notes:
The cache is located behind this busy shopping center on a small tree. You can either park in the main parking lot and then take the short walk to the cache, or drive behind the shopping center and park next to the cache in one of the many parking spots in the back. No bushwhacking required, just don't forget a pen!
