You will have made it to the end of the boardwalk if you are visiting this cache. Our family especially enjoys this area as the sun is setting. It's just so peaceful! Listen up, you may hear red-winged blackbirds or sandhill cranes in the nearby marsh or experience one of the swallows swooshing past you. We've also seen plenty of snakes, toads, coyote and deer along with all of the many different kinds of birds in the area. Whether you have kids running wildly along the boardwalk or you're out for a calm and peaceful stroll, this is a great little short walk through the marsh. At the end of the boardwalk you will have made it to the Norwegian Bay, part of Big Green Lake.
While this cache is available in winter, it probably isn't the best time to go looking for it. The cache may be buried in snow and the boardwalk could be slippery.
