While walking the trails and hiding caches for the WGA 2023 Campout it appears one of my caches fell out of my bag. I need you, YES YOU! to help me locate it. Thankfully that cache had a little beacon in it for you to ping. Downside is it will only tell you its distance from you. You might have to ping it multiple times from different locations to help narrow down where it is located. Hopefully you can eventually narrow down its location for it to reveal itself to you.
Now this could be a quick find, it might take you a while. Depends on where and how often you have to check your distance. Terrain could be low key or a climb depending on the direction you go. Could potentially work on this while finding other caches in the area. Fun part is potentially seeing how few "pings" you have to do to find the cache. Please share your count in your log!
Wherigo Details
This Wherigo converts your player into a virtual version of the "Reverse Cache Box" which "sees" the cache and tells you the distance to it, but not the bearing. In addition to the remaining distance, you know that the final cache is within 2 miles of the posted coordinates. Once you are close and do another query, the exact coordinates of the cache will be provided.
