Creekside Nook Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Freelens&Mosie: Well it's been a long run for this my first cache. It's amazing it lasted this long ( 1.5 years), since it was just off a very popular trail. We placed it there on purpose so beginers would have an easy first find and I think that part was successful. We want to thank the over one hundred visitors for stopping by. Just wish we had snagged the logbook. Oh well peace.

Geocache Description:

The cache is a .30cal. cammo painted ammo can. It blends in real well so you need to be observant. Please replace the cache exactly as you found it.

We decided to place another cache in Wickham Park. This one is one of the easiest. Shorts are fine and no bushwacking is necessary. Wickham Park has something for everyone. Horse shoes, Remote controlled Sailboats on lake #2, horse boarding, fishing, swimming, baseball diamonds, archery and the already mentioned Disk Golf course. It’s a great park to come to for picnics or early morning walks. It also has a nice campground. For this one you need to park by the back lake. There are several ways to get to the cache but keep in mind the easiest way is the best way for this one. The trail is a loop so whichever way you choose you can just keep on going. I recommend the dirt road as a starting point. The cache is not far off the trail. Please replace cache as you found it. Have fun and enjoy.
