I-10 is closed for two miles just east of the Event. If you are coming from that direction, plan accordingly!
The posted coordinates are for the entrance to the Los Angeles Christian School.
This year, the West Los Angeles Geocachers and gsmX2 will host the Geocaching International Film Festival (GIFF) on Saturday, November 18, 2023. The GIFF will be at the Los Angeles Christian Elementary School, 1620 W 20th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90007, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The films will start at 2:00 p.m. We'll have the opportunity to socialize, vote for our favorite films, and possibly hold a raffle after the films.
Optional Donation: The Los Angeles Christian School has generously donated the space and equipment for GIFF 2023. Attendees are encouraged to donate $3.00 to $5.00 to the school in appreciation.
The additional waypoint coordinates are for a casual cafe less than a block from the event. After the long drive from Ojai, I will be dining there from noon until 1:15 p.m. Please join me to hang out before the event and talk about geocaching. No purchase is necessary.
PARKING INFORMATION:
The parking lots for Los Angeles Christian School are on the east and west sides of the school building, with entrances on 20th Street. The lots will be open starting at 12:00 p.m. if you want to park there while you are getting lunch. There is space for about twenty-five vehicles between the two lots. Signs will be posted. There is additional street parking on West 20th Street.
You can post your Attended log and claim your souvenir by attending the event.
