The miners at the Comet Mine were known to get lonely after spending so much time in the darkness of the mines. As they toiled away they often aquired interesting companions. It was a wild place and pets were hard to come by. The miners guarded theirs well, often concealing them in boxes or cages under large structures taking care to to keep away prying eyes. The forgotten one sometime multiplied out of control.
