This Geocache was started as a collaboration between my son, his grandpa, and myself during Father's Day weekend when we came camping at ledges. This campgrounds is an important spot for all of us. It was the first major activity I did with my wife during the first few months we went out. My son was only 6 months old at the time. We never came camping here again until he was 6 years old. We love camping and geocaching.
The location of this geocache is in the name. You will see a sign in the park that should give a clear indication as to the area of the geocache. There is parking but it's a small walk to the box itself and it is not by the sign.. This isn't too hard of a find but is slightly hidden. The name "Will's Oak Woods Treasure" is in honor of my child who has made it his mission to hide his "loot" in a box. Plenty of items for young kids as well as their parents.
Ledges has a permit filed through the park manager and is an approved geocache.
