Whether you are coming into Shandaken or leaving Shandaken, you may have noticed the little pull-over spot on the road just over the county line on the Shandaken side.
Some stop here to fish, however, it mostly exists for use by county snow plow trucks to turn around near the county line and head back into home territory.
Cache is a preform, far enough from any snow plow activity there might be and high enough to be snow friendly.
