This cache is placed in the Oxbow area with permission of Oxbow Inc. One of the requirements for placement is that the cache not be placed such that finders would go through crop fields. I have placed the caches this way and as you *NOT* to try to take shortcuts through farm fields per their wishes.
Start your hunt for the cache at the posted parking/trailheads. The trail is flat grass like a lawn, but bordered by stinging nettles and poison ivy throughout the area. I have tried to keep most hides very close to the trail.
See geocache listing https://coord.info/GCAE2VP for trail heads and parking.
Meg has been very supportive of geocaching at Oxbow and appreciative of our CITO work here.
At the posted coordinates you will see a sign about the self guided tour. Head south east along the trail until you come to 2 metal posts - probably with chain between them. You are looking for a small magnetic whizzbang towards the left attached to a large tube.
