Geocache Description:

New York Cemetery in Henderson County was established in the 1870's. Enoch Tunnell (1816-1879) is the earliest marked grave. This cemetery gradually grew from various land donations made by several of the New York residents. A full description is provided on the Texas Historical Marker near the upper entrance directly across from the church.

This cache is only obtainable from dawn to dusk (no night caching). Once you approach Myrtle, the hide location should be an easy find. Please sign the log and replace the container so as not to leave it exposed.
