This cache is located in the North unit of the Bald Mountain Recreation Area. A Recreation Passport is required to enter. Hikers need to keep in mind that the trail system is heavily used by mountain bikers on the weekends. The best time to avoid bikers is in the middle of the week. Hunting is also allowed so please wear appropriate clothing in season. Trails have multiple hills, low areas that can be muddy. Bug spray is a must during the warmer months.
