Come join the OKIC for a CITO Event at Mt Airy Forest on Friday, Oct 6, 2023, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
We (OKIC) were requested by the Mt Airy Advisory Council and the Cincinnati Parks Board to help out our community by sprucing up Mt Airy before they have Trailfest on Saturday. We will have a booth and do a few demo hikes throughout the day to help build Geocaching in our community.
We will start at the Event location and we will spread out from the treehouse to the Oak Ridge Lodge. We will place filled bags near the roadside and we will collect those at the event of the event into one location for collection by the park. We will provide bags and gloves for the event. We might have a few grabby poles as well if the parks board can free them up for our use.
