This event is intended for geocachers who are either on a streak (whether intentionally or not), or are thinking about starting a streak, have streaked in the past, or have no idea what a streak is and are curious to know more about a new challenge they can subject themselves to.
There will be a cache container component to this event, an urban geocache design share and container swap.
There will be limited door prizes starting from 5:45, the sooner one arrives there will be more of a variety to select from. |

The planned venue serves various libations, sells some snacks, and will have a food truck of sorts available.
Seating is first come/first serve, I will try to arrive early and block a couple tables.
Chuck's Hop Shop
656 NW 85th St, Seattle
Parking is street-side, and you may need to hike a few blocks.
Pease be respectful about parking.
Please read on for more information about the event.
Of all the fads of the 1970s (Pet Rocks, leisure suits, mood rings and Bell-bottoms, streaking was probably the strangest.
Fast-forward to the 2020s and there are some geocachers that passionately nurture their streak.
This event will let geocachers share tall tales of long streaks, the trials and tribulations of maintaining a streak, and let geocachers thinking about starting a streak ask questions about what they might be getting themselves into and why on Earth anyone would voluntarily subject themselves to a streak (why, because we're geocachers, of course).
The urban geocacahe design share and container swap will allow folks to bring a couple, or few, urban geocache containers to share and inspire ideas, and there's opporunity for folks to swap containers. If you have experiences of urban geocaches found, or ideas of how to hide caches in an urban environment, please bring those too!
(I know what you're thinking... this event host is approaching 275 days of a geo-streak, as are many known fellow cachers, so it seems like there may be alternative motives to this event. This can neither be confirmed nor denied)
As with any geocaching event or endeavor, you assume personal responsibility for the safety of yourself and those around you. So please, for Chuck's sake, bring weather appropriate attire, or any attire, and wear it.
Please RSVP your logged intent to attend as soon as you can so I can prepare the venue for our group.
